| A widget is an easy, visual way to link directly to the eSnips folders or files you want the visitors to your site or the readers of your blog to see. |
| |
| What’s a widget? |
| A widget is a linked button that you can create and place on any other web page. You decide what to link to, such as a folder, image or any other file, and you choose a graphic style for your button. The HTML code for the widget will be generated automatically. You can then copy the code and place it in any other HTML editor to create the button. |

| Important Tips |
 |
The folder image will be displayed inside most of the widgets, so if you don't have an image for your folder, we suggest you add one. Simply go to the 'Folder Settings' page and upload the image you want. |
 |
The name of the folder or file is included in most of the widgets. We suggest that you choose a short, descriptive name so it'll be easy to understand what the file or folder is about. To change the name of your folder go to the Folder Settings page. To change a file name go the "Edit" page by clicking on the "Edit Details" link next to the file. |
