Overall, this album has a stirring energetic mood. High enery, and I would love to be entertained by one of the lab.'s lives for this album!! I think the main highlight of "PIED" is the fourth song, "DANCE MACABLE". "PIED" also seems to be more fun songs than serious.
The intro song, also named "Pied", is not unlike the intro song for "Piper" album. It is the same style just more mellow. Some screaming for "Marbles"; it has a pretty good structure, but no incredible climax of the song. Personally, it's too short for me. :< A lighter listen, "Wheel of Fortune" is a bit more calming while still maintaining a nice pace and beat. "DANCE MACABLE", jumps right in, like a speedy fiesta with powerful, aggressive vocals, a very good song!! Sure to wake up even the deepest sleeper. Softer parts are also well transitioned to fit the mood. A MUST-LISTEN!!! xD
Fifth song, "Audio Hysteria Talk": 1/4 cali gari, 3/4 lab, COMPLETELY AO, and it's just a fun song. ^^ Next up is "American Darkness", and its quite primitive sounding ; the drumming makes you feel like you're about to meet a wild Indian tribe---and the "HUU" "HAA"'s remind one of apes... xD too bad I can't understand a damn thing he's saying ;o;
The seventh track, "Beautiful Life", has a hint of cali gari's songs from the "8" album, and has a cheerful tune the entire time. Next song is "Electric Night a Go-Go", and has some punk influence mixed in, and although short, is a pretty good listen. I wasn't too interested in the last song, "No Skin of my Ass", but it had a good intro. .__.
That's bout it, Happy Listening! ^o^
