Live recordings
Posted on Aug. 12 2007

Here are eight new uploads, recorded live at home over the past few months.  Seven of them were written for my husband's family members, and the other is hopefully an improvement on the MIDI previously provided!  I played all the instruments except for the violin on "Serenade" and the piano accompaniment on "Isle of Ristol" - one of my 13-year-old students played it, and his sister played the violin tune!  My flute playing is very amateurish but that's all the more reason to practise!  Hope you enjoy these.

Knowing I would go for that "pieces of eight" clue with my pirate-at-heart attitude (arrgh!) you have not prepared me for the shock of seeing Hypermoborg and with the unknown I find fear. What is this really long word I never heard? What does it sound like? Is it catching? StopHelpHeartHelpLife Belt
It might even be pretty for all I know. I know very little, actually. I can count to nine, and beyond, and get lost! (poor ole' me!) I forgot what I wanted to say. I even forgot why I wanted to say it. I just had the time right, and it is now, but I forgot. Why do I forget things? Why are there things I can never understand? Why do I think you want questions, and not answers?

I dunno!

We are now part of yet another virtual group, it seems. Having joined, now I can comment, and also put things here (in my sector of this wee "universe"), where you will be able to get at them "almost effortlessly" as if that makes any real sense when you can't just "think it to happen" and have what you want right when you get the idea. (won't that be nice when it happens, if it does?)

so anyhow, thanks for finally doing something that i can "sort of relate to" in some way or other. I found a free midi editor and was working with it a little, when today it informed me that its file "user.dll" had to be relocated in a safer area of memory so now the program won't run. (how did it get away with it at first? maybe it is "bugged" by the guy who wrote it and my virus-fixer-upper has blocked it now, that's one way maybe).

aren't these things "fun"??? well anyway, i am mp3-ifying the other ones now. :)

see ya… (without my eyes, of course!)
