Mission Term

After Teams are chosen and one term remains, we kicked it into high gear. We were no longer allowed to drive, watch TV, eat out, or other conveniences that we tend to take for granted living in America. Durring this time we started bonding as a team and did many activities together as well as finnishing up tons of school work!

Challenge Week.jpg

Team Leon along with Paul, Mike, and Erik, all working for the Lord on the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City Arizona, along with little Mya and Chubby. We visited Tuba City durring what is known as AIM challenge week. There we got to spend time with the missionary, Paul Ghee, learning and working for the Lord.

"If your friends asked you to jump off a cliff, would you do it?" Well, Tony would. I showed my team a canyon where I spent a lot of time on past mission trips to the Navajo Reservation. The boys of coarse went right for a rock cliff and decided to see if they could jump down. To make a long story short, Tony injured his back in the fall and Carl and Chris built this stretcher to carry him out of the Canyon.

After we were assigned teams, we switched area church teams around too. Team Leon joined Team Florida and went to Hart every Sunday. How lucky we were! I just loved the people there and they treated us so very well.
