The song is a fondly reflective anthem to the hard-working, conscientious family woman my mother was and her struggle to meet with life's tiresome demands. Ultimately, stress brought such an untimely end to a modest, abundantly talented lady and wonderful Mum. 'Kathleen, wish I could take you by the hand, back to where it all began. I miss you!'

A song whose lyrics started on a scrap of paper from a friend. He had written a verse & chorus wanting me to do the rest by adding music, vocals, verses & arrangement etc...Thirty years on, the paper was re-discovered with now fading lyrics and I went to work completing it. The story in the lyrics was decidedly about a typical night out in the life of friend Bob (The originator) and was done in an E.L.O. style. Befittingly Bob's favourite band.
