This painting was done for a competition but I did not win :-( It is a watercolour painting and that's me doing the painting. Heee...heeee. I did this in July 2008. It took me a week to finish this painting . I wonder why I did not win :-(. I am going to try harder the next time :-)

One of the watercolour painting I did of the Blue Mountains. I painted most of it directly without drawing with a pencil. The tree trunk I had drawn with the pencil. Done when I was 7years old.

This painting is from a book I read by Shirley Barber. I liked the Yellow Fairy and the Mouse and I wanted to paint them. It took me some days to finish this painting because there were soooo many things I had to draw and paint!Done when I was 7years old.

View from my room- by Anushka.PNG

I usually draw and paint from photographs or from imagination. This is the first time I have painted directly from nature. I liked painting like this. I started it one month back. At that time the tree was orange and there were no Jacaranda flowers. I forgot about finishing it and when I started it again, the tree was fully green and the Jacarnda tree was full of purple flowers!!!!! Done when I was 7years old.

My favourite place! I wish I could have stayed in the castle!I drew the castle small because I could not draw it properly but i am going to try and do just the castle in another painting.Done when I was 6years old.

Canberra -by Anushka.PNG

Everything that I like in Canberra. The big building is the entrance to the Cokington green minitaures and that's me looking at the tiny buildings! The train is the CountryLink which I travelled by; behind it is the flowers of Floriade, then is the Questacon building where it was fun doing so many science experiments and behind that is the new Parliament building.Done when I was 7years old.

This is how I imagine summer would be in Interlaken! I painted this too when I was 6years old. We had gone to Interlaken and it was sooo beautiful that I wanted to paint it.

Venus by Anushka.jpg

The painting inside the frame was done by me when I was 5 1/2 years old. It was done for a competition organized by the European Space agency. I had to paint what I thought the surface of the planet Venus would look like. I did not win the prize though :-(
