The most fun I had over the holidays in December '08 was visiting with my family, most who came down for a few nights after Christmas. We played 4 or 5 different games and the game that stood out for all of us was Wits and Wagers. It is a board game that is played by asking everyone a question. The answer is always a number. Players write down their best answer and place in on the game board in order from low to high. Bets are place on what you think is the right answer without going over. All bets are off, then the real answer is read out loud. Players collect or lose their bet based on the odds of their bet.
I recommend you go out and purchase this game for your next gathering.
