SEARCHING FOR THE 12th NOTE
hear the 12th note. not only a note range but a bandwidth. We hear the 12th note when we listen to live bands/orchestras and when we spin records but we cannot hear the 12th note on digital players or digital radio, without the use of special conversion generaters . without which the sound is hard thin and cold. I try to expand the polyphony so that there is more to hear, even though a great deal of the tonal range is removed bt digital compression. It's not about quality of sound, it's about quantity of information or stimulation.
Some examples of my musical experiments. been sending music to hosts for years now, there must be about 400 song titles out there at the internet archive in San Fransisco under the artist search names, PQ, PQR1 and DJ 100. You could say I left my heart in San Fransisco. Soon be picking varied examples of classical, jazz, wave mixing, loop mixing, etc I'm all over the place in so many ways in all directions experimental. More info in my bussiness folder. All I can really say is...it's difficult to add the correct tag. I could make crispy new Cubase synth compositions and the choice of notes would make it mine, but would rather search for melodies in harmonic combinations of waves, like writing a sound on a synth, so many unexpected bad sounds combined to produce a rich tone and texture
