Version 1.15 (released January 15, 2008)

  D2Details version 1.15 has a new screen resolution detection algorithm which fixes the problem with the newer wide screen displays. It now scales most child windows according to the vertical screen size of your display.

It also now allows the user some input into the way the background picture is displayed.

Many of the item pictures have also been improved over the last version.

Note: the screenshots have been reduced from true color to 256 color to reduce the file size --- in the actual program they will look a bit better.

Note: D2Details does not support the almost obsolete 640 by 480 pixels screen resolution.  It will run under this screen resolution but many of the child windows and fonts will probably look too big.

See the notes below for how to download the D2Details program (zip file).  On some operating systems, you may need administrator privileges to install this program. It is not signed but it is safe and contains no hacks.

This program was originally written for my own and my friends' use, but I have released it here as freeware for anyone to use.  It is especially useful for new users of Diablo II.
