Captured this comment during a visit to our local Grocery Store on 11th July 2008 using a Sony B16 IC Recorder, I recorded 4 minutes of background ambient noise. I hear, “THE BRIGHT LIGHT’S HERE FOR US!” – definitely an English brogue and possibly from a working class background which would have been quite common beyond 60 years ago due to the high proportion of English settlers in Australia

Our friends on the Other Side advising me that they 'Have (the) Program, Robert!' - presumably meaning they can 'tune in' quite well using the 'scan' method. Interesting that a female utters the first word of the response, followed by two words from a male who completes the sentence - either a scanning 'interfrequency issue' or a team response!

An AM manual scan on my watts radio this morning on approx 30 settings in circa 10 seconds It is a definite sophisticated female voice saying - 'Hello!' - followed by a slightly-less definite - 'Danielle!'
