| Koncheto ("The Horsie") is a name given to a ridge in the Pirin Mountains in Bulgaria, at an altitude of approximately 2780 meters. There are steep slopes on either side: the northwestern side is almost vertical and appr. 300 meters deep, while the southwestern side is less steep (appr. 30 degrees) but deeper (800 meters). There is a steel cable stretched along the top of the ridge to help hikers across. It is not recommended for hikers with acrophobia. |

| This beautiful tree is called Baikusheva mura(white fir - 'Pinus heldreichii'), one of the oldest trees in Bulgaria. The specialists can’t determine its age, but they suggest that it is at about 1300 years. Its approximate size is: height - 24 m; diameter - 2,2 m; circumference - 7.8 m.

| Musala peak,Rila mountain,is the highest peak in Bulgaria and the entire Balkan Peninsula, standing at 2,925 m (9,596 ft).The easiest climb is by a straightforward footpath from the ski resort of Borovets, 10 km to the north; there is also a Gondola lift from Borovets to the Yastrebets peak at 2,369 m altitude and several mountain chalets. |
