I am excited to launch a new link on my blog today for vocalists! I have a ton of information I’ve been gathering and modifying for those who serve in the local church. Over the past ten years of leading worship in the local church and conferences I have come to realize that many vocal performers that serve in these areas don’t take their art serious enough. If you have been on my blog much at all you know one soapbox close to my heart is that the local churches’ birthright is to be the fountain head of all creativity. My prayer is that these articles will equip, encourage and educate all you vocalists in the art that God called you to.
If you are a vocalist then please comment on my blog so I can make this resource page better and better. I love the local church and I am an artist. All of the articles here deal specifically with vocals but please look at some of the other folders for Worship Leaders.
Tea is something you should enjoy! And it helps your voice too. I use “Throat Coat” http://www.tealand.com/ThroatCoat.asp & loose leaf teas from Adagio teas http://www.adagio.com
. Email me johnny.scott@ciy.com for a $5.00 gift certificate to the Adagio teas web site. I recommend the Roobios and Decaf/Herbal teas. I use only honey to sweeten.
I also use: Slippery Elm Bark tablets are great too! http://www.papanature.com/store/ProductsList.aspx?c=Herbs&cid=slippery_elm&gclid=CLq06-f2wYYCFSZyWAodji5hUw
