In this folder I will try to include songs unheard of or very rarely heard. Names like Saigal, Punkaj Mullick , Geeta Roy,Hemant Kumar , Mukesh , Lata , Suraiya , Talat Mahmood, and many more artists like Tun Tun(Uma DEvi), Suman Kalyanpur,Etc will appear in this. If this proves to be popular I will continue to hold it or else in case I will not pursue with the idea. Thanks. Premchand

You have rightly summed up the present music scenario. There is no Music in films today. There are just mechanical sounds created by computer devices. It is correctly said that HFM died in 70s after the golden period ended in 1960s.
What a great and enthraling music was in that era which penetrated one's heart deep inside. The whole chemistry of a song with lilting music, meaningful lyrics and dedicated singing by great souls. That is why the songs of bygone era are still surviving. What have remain today of films of that era except their music? We find a new emotional layer and a new meaning in every song of the golden era whenever we get a chance to listen them again.
I really appreciate your love for film music and your untiring efforts of uploading songs to drench us in melody.

I am pleased to note that you are a devout of true music and this we can only find through the melodies of the golden era. tunes and poetry go hand in hand + voice intensity and modulation which toch the heart of the being.
nowadays it is rare that we find such compositions though we have a plethora of tracks which are dumped on the music ? film market just to fill our ears with noise, hubbub and near pandemonium. This type of so-called music ,instead of soothing has the power to destroy our emotions and feelings. The tunes are so unrhythmic that they instil aggressiveness, immoraity, and senseless emotions and they make people become crazy for worthless gadgetsand phenomena.
There is a trend of adding to our misery rather than instilling more worthy values to our presnt lives which are already so much stressed. Adding these to our daily misery is abominable. They do not think how much harm they are creating and giving to this present ganeration.
