Let me introduce myself here. I am a full time  Georgia homemaker with 4 kids, (3 daughters and youngest, a son).  These happenings I am about to tell you , is when I lived in Virginia, 2 years ago. So here we go: My son and I have been given the ability to feel, hear, and/or see ghosts( I have had seen visions, and entities in my young childhood @ my old home on the Eastern Shore,VA, which was a private manor that General Lee visited during his visits..now its a Bed&Breakfast? still? that has been sold for more than 1.9 million to 2 diff owners).  My 2 yrs old son and I were home alone on most of the EVP's , since my  3 daughters were in school...I noticed during these  days with my son, that he would look behind, or stare at something across the room, like someone had just entered.. I didnt know what to think. He started talking out of random and pointing to things I couldnt see. Than I figured out he had an imaginary friend. I talked with one of my closest friends who told me that  my son probably is seening and listening to  ghosts, and is talking with them. So I went online to see if it was true, and voila, I am not the only mom to go thru this.... A website instructed I leave a digitital recorder running, soo I chose to do this random with my son, when he was alone, playing in his bedroom..  At the time I recorded these EVP's with my digital recorder in my ex-VA home, I was unaware of my 2yrs old son's capability to speak with the dead. I never knew there were ghosts or the main Poltergiest  " Butch" , in the house. How did I know this? I had a demonologist come to my home to find out. Yes, she was freaked out by the time she got to the front door! There are also children entities, some women entities, and I have  sometimes a nice or mean poltergiest "Butch". History on our land was Civil War makeshift hospital where "Butch ", who was a surgeon, did alot of amputations. (i think he enjoyed it , says one psychic) The psychic also said he had a young wife(she died before he was sent to the war) who looked alike like me, and he was trying to "overpower me" ..than I found out later, the land was also used for a small orphanage. But let me inform you a little more on Butch. He showed himself to my son several times, whom he described " the green frog". Another time, my skeptic husband woke in the middle of the nite, seeing a 6ft + ugly man face hovering over him. On another occassion, my motherinlaw spent the nite in my sons room with him( hubby and I were away, and the girls were in their own beds in another bedroom), and was pointed out by my son that a man was standing by the closet door. She looked up and saw an ugly 6ft+ man standing there. She told me he glowed green (gross). She told the figure to leave, but he didnt. So she brought my son to the lighted living room, and safely fell asleep with my son on the sofa. Another, of many occassions, I was in the dining room re-arranging some roses my hubby bought for me the nite before, and suddenly, I looked up and saw this disgusting looking face of a male, about 6ft + tall. I yelped at first in shock, and than commanded him to go away, which he did. His presence overwhelmed me at times. I felt hatred toward him for showing himself mostly to my son,  and talking with my boy. My 3 daughters had witnessed slamming doors, which hubby and I would say " the wind closed it"....but they knew. They were fortunate never to see this Butch guy, but remember the slamming doors, the knocking on the walls, figurines facing opposite directions from the curio, and the TV turning on and off at 3am....So yeah, we have moved since, not because of our haunted home, but hubbys new job offer here in GA....Our land we are on now, was used for cattle, and it has been blessed(the contractor blessed the 4 corners of the land and in the concrete foundation for the steps he wrote JESUS) before me and the family set foot on the land. I feel that there is nothing here now, and am more at peace. Ocassionally my daughters will tell neighbors/friends about our ex- haunted home, but I hope they will soon forget. My son, who was affected the most, has spoken a little of his past about the "green frog",  but still to this day , wont sleep in his own new bedroom alone. To this day, even though its been 7 yrs away from all of that, I feel new again, safe,  and wanting to help others who have had similiar experiences. * I had lived in this Virginia house for 7 years. I had brought home from the hospital, my last 2 kids. Why the youngest( my son) to see/hear/ and speak to the entities is beyond me. Thats when things started when he was able to speak! *

Poltergeist - From the German, meaning "noisy spirit". Term for a spirit which is associated with the movemenet of objects and general mischievous haunting activity.
