Trying to improve my composition skills to write soundtracks for a flash animation series that my friends and I are starting soon. This folder includes the sonds I create as I'm learning. Some songs are rough drafts of what will be used in the series.

Techno Theme Experiment - Shameless Romp.mp3

How long can a 5-second theme last? This is an experiment in creating variations. The original theme is the first five seconds of the piece, the rest are variations. Not a serious attempt at composition, it goal is to try to repeat variations of the same theme for as long as possible. Comments welcome.

Hi, I'm trying to update my composition skills for a flash animation series that my friends and I are starting. This piece is an exercise in creating incendental music for a scene. It is a moment of reflection in the series for one of the main characters who decides to stop looking at his own problems and instead considers trying to do something to change the world. Any comments and criticisms are welcome.

old_neighborhood.mp3

This was something I composed a few days ago. Its semi-autobiographical. Its supposed to depict memories of life in the old neighborhood. Life wasn't easy but amongst the bad in the inner city you find compassionate people like the inspiring teacher. It was here that I was inspired to study engineering. The piece takes place behind a scene of jump-roping on a hot summer day (high bell melody in the beginning). I hope you enjoy this piece. Any comments and suggestions are welcome.
