The lyrics for the phajan are "Ram katha main veer jatau ka apna anupam isthan, Tulsi ne bagbhagi kah kar kia jatayu ka yash gaan. Bolo Ram, bolo Ram, Bolo Ram Ram Ram". - The old epic Ramayana has a special place for Jatayu ( a bird ). Tulsidas ji ( one of the most renown epic writer of India) has praised Jatayu in his words.
