There are certain things I sing.... that I probably shouldn't....because they aren't particularly suited to my voice... but I sing them even if there is one line of the lyrics...... or one rift or break in the composition I love......There has to be something that appeals to me.. something I can relate to from my own life experiences or that of friends or loved ones...
There are many great songs I will never sing because I simply can't relate to them...I have to be able to feel the lyrics if I don't..to me I am nothing but a parrot....and the song turns out hollow and lifeless..
My tastes cross over most genre's of music... but my favorite has to be Blues with Country being a close 2nd and my true comfort zone.
