Poetry and Spoken Word
I am, first of all, a poet, above everything else. I've been writing since I can remember. It was my way of dealing with life. I shared it with no one. I only used it as an outlet. My written words became known to others strictly by accident, and when I seen that I can capture someone elses attention and lead them to feel a story that I lived, I knew God gave me a gift.

I know we are told not to live in yesterday, and that's good advice, but to breathe the freshness of a certain moment....I think is the one exception to the rule, don't you?

This is a track from a CD I recorded about 5 years ago. This instrumental backing is actually a midi of John Micheal Montgomery's 'Hold Onto Me'. I'm not really sure how this one came about other than to say that as I listened I wrote. It's poetry, and song...something that I love to do!

As this project first began it was meant to be karaoke. Well, that's not how it ended up, as you can tell. This was not rehearsed, nor written prior to being recorded. This was off the top of my head, and what it is, is what it is. In the concept, of a plant being dried up and not watered, it simply means that it cannot grow....and it needs rain to grow, and tears are essential to the human body, and more importantly the soul, to allow it to grow.
