Going up the Doli way
The
peak is a 3 ½ km climb of over 3500 steps from the base. The journey is arduous.
The walk up the stone stairway hewn into the mountain face takes about
two hours. For those unable or unaccustomed to the strain,
Doli or sling-chairs are available.
These
pictures are taken of these doli, the carried and the carriers, their way, their stops, etc. with many resting
places in between
It is upto you to decicide if this way of climbing is really inhuman or humane.
I have just photographed them without any moral issues or obligations.
