December 2008: New Dutchtronix AVR Oscilloscope Clock hardware version V3.1 with firmware V3.5 is now available at www.dutchtronix.com/ScopeClock.htm. This new version features an Atmega328p AVR (more space), a better DAC (low output impedance), on-board power supply, more convenient connectors like BNC and DB9, more push button switches and even an optional USB interface.
The updated firmware now has 3 on-board applications: the clock, a terminal program and a function generator. Operation with 2 push button switches is also much faster.
The greatly enhanced firmware version 3.0 for the Dutchtronix AVR Oscilloscope Clock hardware V2.0 is now available!
The new (added) features include:
- Display and set both Time and Date using the on-board button switch
- Roman Numerals Clock Display Option
- Binary Clock Display, with Hexadecimal numeric Display option
- Fractional Seconds display option showing time in 1/100 of a second increments
- A total of 30 different Clock Display combinations is possible
- Optionally add a User Name to the Clock Display
- Automatic Time and Date setting when connected to the NMEA output from a GPS device
- Automatic Daylight Saving Time correction for 2008-2014 for the USA and the EU
- Clean Reset of the EEProm Configuration Data option
- New character Graphics engine
- Enhanced display speed
