| I wrote this song about my wife when she was going through a tough time dealing with the death of her father. I've since taken it down a couple of octaves, at the time I didn't understand anything about my "range". I really like the message in this song. I still tend to try to fix things on my own, but I'm learning more and more to pray first. |

| One of my favorite songs. It's really only three chords, but when we play it at church with the full band, congas and some lead guitar, it's awesome. I think it needs a gospel choir singing back up on the chorus to really do it justice. |

| A simple little song that came out of a time of prayer. It makes me cry sometimes, it's like a little crack that God put in my hard heart so he could touch me. Most of my songs seem to be messages to me from God or the working out of something that I'm going through at the time.
I gave up half way through be because my hands got tired and I was frustrated with myself for losing time. |

| Not sure how to describe this song. I like it a lot. It's a recent one. It kind of haunts me at times. It's about my empty prayers at times, when I've asked God to "make me" do things that I know I should be doing. It's kind of tongue in cheek. Asking God to put muscles to my bones so that I will move. I find I'm blind so often and I don't find my way until I've run into the wall in front of me.
The coda kind of explains what I mean by the chorus. |
