Set to music by the late K.Srinivas, and sung by Sri.K.Ramachandra Pai, the poet features Lord Narasimha of Thuravoor Temple in Kerala. | Perhaps this version of "JAYA JAYA JAYA HEY VENKATARAMANA" was the forerunner of all the different versions, thanks to Akashvani. Konkani Bhasha Prachar Sabha (Kochi) included this song in one of the chunks broadcast in the Trivandrum & Alappuzha centres of All India Radio, during 1987-88. Though singer's name was not announced, this nice version lingers still on the lips of a senior generation. |
