I was just today 3-10-08 reading a 4druler forum discussion where they are thinking of making and selling custom skins for the game.

Hmmmm, anyway,follow the above link to many hundreds of them that I made,for free,for Gore players to download.

Some are pretty good.Some aint.Just like clothing.

I did the hard part for you.

The pictures here are screen grab pictures of my custom game characters in a game in progress in Gore Ultimate Soldier.

I was in observer mode,and hit my screenshot key on my keyboard.I was playing with image edit software.(The Gimp)

I learned a lot from the experience,including sound and video editing.

Several years ago,I had tried the Sims game.I noticed that there were thousands of different skins online for clothes and stuff.For Gore Ultimate Soldier,there were very few available.Most were mainly for armor colors and some weapons colors.There were few for clothing,and virtually none for changes to the physical look of the player models.I took it upon myself to add many optional uniforms,and facial looks.

So,far,I have never done a weapon skin,or armor.

I need alsoto put my .god game play files here somewhere,especially since people that play the game in the stock non modified form have tried to crush all modified files by treating them as impure,and not worthy of their attention.

Stock Tactical Clan People.Boring,and boring.

The number of downloads of the skin zip files did not encourage me to do much with this stuff I put here. 

However,I am seeing increased page hits in key areas,so I may try to organize and add to this a little. 

I hear that the newer versions of the game may have automatic updates which overwrite any mods,so keep copies.The game people may be trying to limit modified files by allowing only the ones they wish to incorporate,or sell to you.

The beauty of this Esnip site is that so far it is free,so these files should  not go away due to me not paying to put them on a server,or because a clan I belong to disbands,as most of them have.The game has been greatly harmed by people trying to take control of it.

Many have started clans to make you play the way they want,where they want,and with whom they want.They will keep out and team up against outsiders.They draw the better players away from the general game player pool by joining your server to recruit the players playing there.

"Come join my server,or you are not my friend"

So ,the game got divided,and a house divided shall not stand. 

I have not played Gore in many months,so I do not know if the new version even allows custom modified files.

 I made these some time back.Most of the

images were made so I could see what needed more work.

As such,some images are of works that were in progress.

Most of the files in the zips on the above link are sorted through,and usable.Many of my custom skins have never been installed in a game,or photographed ,not even by me.

Many times one can  use the same skin for multiple player models,so I had no need to see it,as I already knew how it would look.

I saw it in my mind.
