Its an absolutely beautiful painting! What beautiful dogs and you have captured them so well on canvas! Loved the background and as Anusha mentions, the blue colour does give a magical feeling to the whole picture. Your wife is sure going to be thrilled by this gift! Well done!

You have an amazing talent and I am surprised you don't do more of pets and portraitures. It must have been a joy to paint your Golden Retrievers and I can very well imagine your wife's delight when she sees this painting.
 
I am truly honoured that you would think of painting from one of my photographs. You are most welcome to pick any.
I enjoy travelling and was lucky to have been based in Dubai for a number of years; the place is very centrally located and travelling with my family to Europe and Far East was relatively easier.

The dogs are so cute. They look like they are in  a magical place on a bed of blue leaves! Grin
I like that colour very much.
I am not good at drawing animals Sadbut I am trying to improve.
