GE는 페인팅 없이도 다양한 색감과 물성을 요구하는 고객의 수요에 대응하기 위해 지난 2001년부터 70여 종류의 비주얼에프엑스 수지를 개발해 놓고 있다. EP 컴파운딩 제품 수백종 전자·자동차·생활용품에 응용 1층에는 GE플라스틱이 전자, 자동차 및 일상생활용품에 제공하는 각종 소재들이 전시돼 있다. GE플라스틱은 폴리카보네이트를 비롯, 폴리아마이드(PA), 폴리아세탈(POM), 폴리페닐렌에테르(PPE), 폴리페닐렌옥사이드(PPO), 폴리에테르이미드(PEI) 등 각종 엔지니어링플라스틱(EP)을 베이스로 다양한 컴파운딩 제품을 생산하고 있다. PC 기반의 베이스레진(Base Resin)과 컴파운딩 제품은 ´렉산(LEXAN)´, PPE와 PPO 기반은 ´노릴(NORYL)´, PBT 기반은 ´발록스(VALOX)´, PEI 기반은 ´울템(ULTEM)´ 등의 이름이 붙는다.
