Cultural Diplomacy (see: Demos.co.uk )
Posted on Aug. 1 2007

We work with suppliers of: art, food, music as well as gallery owners to host networking events and symposia for leaders and investors.

Our work is based on the findings of the Demos think-tank on the subject of Cultural Diplomacy - in particular the way that culture can serve as a bridge to diplomatic understanding.

See: www.demos.co.uk

We invite creative specialists and artists to participate to create local events related to inward investment, community participation and urban renewal.

We host cultural events not only for those who want to invest, not just money, but time, energy, resources, commitment and participation.

Our work at Eco-Campus is to provide a forum for community renewal and urban regeneration.

The Eco-Campus programme of Creative Workshops is especially designed for those who want to participate in theatre and the performing arts as well as film and independent cinema. See: www.creative-workshops.org.uk

Our work is based on the findings of another Demos report: "Leadership and Cultural Value - A matrix for change".

The next step

We host courses on Leadership  and Re-thinking Globalisation from Eco-Campus in Greece, for members and their guests.

The Campus programme and Alumni Community is designed for Social Entrepreneurs and public servants to realise shared values and work towards sustainable business development through dialogue and consensus.

The main feature of our Leadership course is based on The Art of the Meaningful Conversation and creating win-win understanding. We also draw onthe work of Margaret Wheatley - Leadership and the New Science (www.margaretwheatley.com) and the work - Good Business, Flow, Leadership and the Making of Meaning.

Courses and walking holiday retreats are held at Eco-Campus Community.

Members have access to Enterprise Support and Career Support services.

Eco-Campus offers a mentoring service for graduates and those who seek an independent future as a coach, tutor, mentor, facilitator or human-scale educator.

To apply to join the Eco-Campus community - contact us directly.
