Black Coat - 2006.wmv
A dark and uncomplicated track with a strong compelling vocal, a simple construction but effective. I wrote the melody around the words of a poem by Brian Patten, and after seeking his kind permission to use the words here it is, The lines are from his book called "Collected Love Poems." A fast paced electronic love song about the hurt pain and suffering caused when a relationship is in deep and troubled waters, an emotional roller coaster ride without the buffers to cushion the blow, but despite all the trauma an acceptance of compromise is apparent. Polygon 5 is track 5 taken from Transmit The Objectives CD recorded in August of 2000. The Original cine film footage was shot way back in 1974 by my late grandad Duckworth. The featured cars a Hillman Imp and the driver of the said vehicle is my dad, fame at last! Could this be the new UK version of Autobahn? I wish.. I Could't Care otherwise known as "Rude Awakening" is the opening track from the Scenario 1 CD entitled "Devoted To Sound". The Video was shot in Jan 2004 at Tewitfield Locks near Kendal Cumbria UK, and on a bridge over the M6 motorway just before junction 36 northbound.
