I loved this rendition of this old classic that I didn't change it any, but just added another lead vocal. I hope that I didn't take anything away from it, only that I enhanced it just a little bit. This is a choir singing, but it's been so long since I did this that I can't remember their name, but boy are they good!!!! I hope you enjoy listening because I certainly enjoyed singing along with them!

This is a second version of this song. I deleted the original and re-posted it because Dizzy re-mastered it for me, and the sound quality is much, much better. Dizzy you are such a wonderful person, and I thank you with all my heart for doing this for me. I do sigh everytime I hear this song. It has such meaning, and truly I find that in the lyrics where it says you needed me, the truth is I needed you.

I have always loved this song. It seems to be more popular around Christmas time, but the issues that are dealt with in the lyrics are something that happens all the time. My heart aches for all the mistreated children in this world. To me, children teach us, as adults, the most valuable lessons in life. Think about it.
