About me

I am daughter of Late Shri Ogirala Veera Raghava Sarma.

OVRS published Deviganasudha in Telugu, a set of 86 compositions in praise of Shri Devi Gayatri in traditional style of Carnatic music. The book is transiliterated into Tamil.

I learnt Carnatic music from my father from childhood in the age old gurukula system. I received special training in rendering the keerthanas contained in Deviganasudha.

It is my endeavour to propogate these kritis to those who are interested in Carnatic music.

Compositions comprise bhakti, jnana and vairagya bhavas. 56 parAtpari in nAdAnaMdaraMjani & 80 padAraviMdamule in praNavapriya evolved in new rAgAs.I am a housewife.
