About me

i take a lot of pictures...  didja notice?  for quite a while the sun was my favorite subject.  funny thing about the sun, you can't negotiate with it.  for some reason it just does whatever it does and that's it - have a nice day.  for almost a year, i met the sun on the beach in Corpus Christi, Texas, every saturday and sunday morning.  it's addictive.  i took more pictures than you could possibly be interested in viewing - let alone have the time.

there's a message in the sun for us.  it a subtle message, and you have to be there to understand - and i've found that many of us really don't want to receive it.  it says in bright, i am the sun colors, that in the entire scope of things - we really don't matter.  regardles of how we spend our day; whether sick, happy, angry, hopeless, or elated, the sun will always just pop right back up the next day.  when we are gone the cycle will continue without our attention.  that's the small message.  the big message is get out and live - you're going to die.

get up early tomorrow, the sun is scheduled to appear worldwide - go see it.

Short Stories
I write in a style I like to think of as "Channel Surfing". Each story is designed to fill only one page, so don't plan on getting tied up reading a trilogy. The stories are posted, the files are at the bottom. Got about four or five minutes? Click on "show all posts" if you don't see the short story you came here for... enjoy.

My Favorite Songs
With the exception of a Jefferson Airplane cover, all of this music is mine (for better or for worse)... The down side is that I'm stuck with me. The up side is that you might like it, and if you don't the rest of the world is just a click away...

Valentine Day Story
You will read it, and probably not believe it happened, but it did. Whether you believe it or not - leave this page with the lesson. This is a two post recollection.

Tarheads Lyrics
i posted each of them straight out, with a link to listen if you get the urge. the link will open a separate window - so sing along with me. i believe that if it's in my music folder it's here, you may have to click show all posts to find it... before there's music - it's a poem, right?
