You are SO right! My favorite songs always make me feel better, AND I can TOTALLY sing now that I've explored and found the right songs (Ayaka is a surprising talent of mine...). Growing up, my father has always played his guitar and he even writes his own songs, so music is such a fixture in my life. Yesterday, the DMV turned down my application for a driving test for the zillionth time (I've never even had a chance to fail the darned thing), so I drew a manga picture of myself brutally murdering the letters 'DMV', and, when I showed it to Dad, he burst out laughing because a long, long time ago (I didn't even exist yet), he wrote a song about going on a killing spree in the DMV because "The DMV made a killer out of me"~ I think that the people who write songs reap the most benefits from music! Sure, listening to an angry ex-love song about having your heart broken makes everyone feel better when they're in that situation, but imagine being the one who wrote it!

Thank you so much for what you've given~ It's the songs in your folder that make me feel less like killing the DMV~ Also, the artists you've put in here are some of my long-time favorites! And there are others I've never heard of who I think, in a long time, will be my long-time favorites because of it! Thank you again.
