About me

My full nickname is Dhamma_Nanda but just call me only Nanda if you don't want to call in the full name. I am here not for anything but just want to share my interest collections and my own works to all people who seek for more spiritual knowledge to lead their life in the right path. I like associating with many good friends who talk good do good, correct me when seeing my fault not talk about me behind, accept my correction when I see their fault, and also one who don't like only flattering or compliment but like accepting the truth about who they are. I also like accepting the idea of others who share to me. We are born in one world together, the world is like our great house or family and all of us are the members of this great family as the siblings. As we are the siblings of this great family, we should share love, harmony and compassion to each others to fill this world with peace and happiness! I am a sentient being not a holy person but in some reason I can smile to everyone even though those who considered me as their enemy. I never want to treat anyone as my enemies even though those who cause me unsatisfied sometimes. This world is really complicated as I know, many people don't like sharing love, harmony and compassion but all people like accepting these conditions. Many people like only talk about good but their actions are opposite with what they said. I wish for all those try to match their words and their actions in the balance. Pure smile can only merge from the pure heart, the heart which filled with compassion, love and harmony. May This world be filled with peace and happiness! May all beings be free from greed, hatred, delusion, ignorance, discrimination!  May all beings live in Happiness and Peace! Love and Compassion, the more you share the more you gain!

 Love and Compassion

  ~Nanda~

Walk and touch peace every moment.
Walk and touch happiness every moment.
Each step brings a fresh breeze.
Each step makes a flower bloom.
Kiss the Earth with your feet.
Bring the Earth your love and happiness.
The Earth will be safe
when we feel safe in ourselves.

- Thich Nhat Hahn

Nanda writes:
We humans have existed in our present form for about a hundred thousand years. I believe that if during this time the human mind had been primarily controlled by anger and hatred, our overall population would have decreased. But today, despite all our wars, we find that the human population is greater than ever. This clearly indicates to me that love and compassion predominate in the world. And this is why unpleasant events are "news"; compassionate activities are so much a part of daily life that they are taken for granted and , therefore, largely ignored.

Nanda writes:
From one point of view we can say that we have human bodies and are practicing the Buddha's teachings and are thus much better than insects. But we can also say that insects are innocent and free from guile, where as we often lie and misrepresent ourselves in devious ways in order to achieve our ends or better ourselves. From this perspective, we are much worse than insects.

Nanda writes:
Do not pursue the past.
Do not lose yourself in the future.
The past no longer is.
The future has not yet come.
Looking deeply at life as it is.
In the very here and now, the practitioner dwells in stability and freedom.
We must be diligent today.
To wait until tomorrow is too late.
Death comes unexpectedly.
How can we bargain with it?
The sage calls a person who knows how to dwell in mindfulness night and day,
'one who knows the better way to live alone.'

Nanda writes:
Our modern Western culture only recognises the first of these, freedom of desires. It then worships such a freedom by enshrining it at the forefront of national constituitions and bills of human rights. One can say that the underlying creed of most Western democracies is to protect their people's freedom to realise their desires, as far as this is possible. It is remarkable that in such countries people do not feel very free. The second kind of freedom, freedom from desires, is celebrated only in some religious communities. It celebrates contentment, peace that is free from desires.
