About me

Robert Rial was born and raised in Jackson County, Michigan. He moved with his father and went to High School in Ohio and wound up at Ohio University in Athens, where he got a B.A. in Theatre Arts and Sciences in 1999. He moved to Chicago in 2000 to pursure a career in music. He has performed as on-stage guitarist in The Hipmas Carol for the past six years and also appears frequently with his old-timey musical outfit BAKELITE 78.
