This is a recording of parts of a rehearsal with Ivybridge Community Choir. It enables people who were there to go over again what we practised, and for those who missed it to catch up. In addition, if you're thinking of giving the choir a go, you may like to have a listen and see what sort of music we sing.

Trusham Village, in the heart of rural Devon, has strong links with the poet Charles Causley whose family lived there for generations. The village mounted a festival of events celebrating Causley's life and work and this is a recording of the Saturday evening soiree - a combination of musical settings of Causley poems, reminiscences, readings, and performances by his distant relation, the folk singer Jim Causley.

The three classes in Unit 3 at Blackpool School, Liverton, Devon UK spent a day writing songs with environmental/ecological themes with composer David Haines (www.DavidHaines.co.uk). The day was organised through Devon Arts In Schools Initiative and generously part-funded by The Helen Foundation established in memory of Helen Kirk, whose parents, Roger & Annie, came along for part of the afternoon.
