| Powers of Ten is a science oratorio by British composer David Haines. It was first performed at Dawlish Leisure Centre in 1999 by a choir of around 400 children and adults. It is due for performance in April 2008 as part of the Cambridge Science Festival (Massachusetts) by North Cambridge Family Opera Festival Chorus. The village mounted a festival of events celebrating Causley's life and work and this is a recording of the Saturday evening soiree - a combination of musical settings of Causley poems, reminiscences, readings, and performances by his distant relation, the folk singer Jim Causley. |
