and yet... no talent or technical knowledge??? hmmmmm actually I've been studying musical stuff, learning how to compose my own original music. I've been fixated on the B,G#,G,F,E,C#,C (arabic) scale lately. Also been listening to some modern classical music as well, beleive it or not. you know, songs with titles like "prelude in c-minor" or "Nocturne in major" et cetera.

I think the reason I like making and listening to classical music (i.e. beethoven) is because I find it novel. sure, in their day, it was the only music there was, but nowadays, very very few people make music like that.

I hear people talk about bands like the beatles and led zeppilin, in contrast to modern music like gay pop punk music, they say "they don't make music like they used to." I, on the other hand, talk about people like luigi russolo, ball, tzara, in contrast to modern noisicians, say "they don't make noise like they used to." or talk about people like classical composers, bach, beethoven, lalablah, say "led zeppilin, are you kidding me? they never made music like they used to."

nowadays we got computer sequenced beats and synths and stuff, back then thy had keyboards and guitars, way back they only had piano's violins, stuf. WAAAAAY back then, they had harps, panflutes, et cetera. WAAAAAAAAAAAAY WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back, they had rocks. they threw them at the walls of their caves.

have we evolved, I mean musically?
