At my age (73), the voice is beginning to crack around the edges a little and I'll apologize in advance for that... still, I do love to sing and everyone here has been so non-judgemental that I'm encouraged to offer a few more songs. Whatever I'm able to sing are my own versions of the songs, so I may take a few liberties here and there. especially with the phrasing. I hope you'll enjoy a few of these very simple arrangements of my favorite oldies.

Mike Stories

This page will be where I'll keep some of my personal stories. Every family has them and few are written down, but are instead passed on to our children in the oral tradition. The "Bible Stories" are not mine, they were composed by my late mother-in-law, Elvie McClennan who lived with us for the last 15 years of her life. She was a multi-talented lady and I loved her very much.

Digital Photo Art

These are photos I've converted into watercolor and acrylic "paintings". After cropping, the photo is filtered with a one-time pass through the "dry brush" filter in Photoshop. Then a very faint image of the photo ( resized) is printed on 90 lb cold press watercolor paper (Aquarius) and in some cases onto 'canvas paper'. The photo is then enhanced by over-painting with watercolors, watercolor pencils or acrylics.

This song is a lovely romantic duet from movie Kaash. I love this song so much and sang from my heart. I also want to dedicate this to my best friend who's so dear to me and will join her hubby soon (She's getting married in Oct)
I wanted Afzal Zaheer to sing the male part but perhaps due to his busy life he couldn't respond thus I decided to sing the whole song myself unless he decides to sing later and someone else comes forward to do justice with Kishore ji's part.I'd consider all the awesome male voices for this duet as long as you sing from your heart and put all the feelings and emotions and also maintain Sur Cool

I came across this song few days back on weekends and loved the beats so much that I could not stop myself from singing. OH YES I DANCED TOO!! I had to really work hard on this song from creating backing track to singing and adding effects that would match the original song somehow. This is an energetic dance song from movie 'Aa Dekhen Zara' (2009) sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. Sunidhi must be using atleast a dozen RED BULL bottles (or perhaps ecstacy pills who knows ) before singing such songs! I've used Flanger, Chorus and Harmony as special effects and all the song/chorus is in my voice except the last bit where female chorus was used as part of music mix. Please share your thoughts on my work and leave feedbacks on song and profile.
This might be my last song before taking long break due to professional engagements so please everyone try to leave comments!
