USS WASP LHD1 Halifax Port Visit & VIP Tour

A Dockside , panoramic and onboard study of the inestimable USS WASP. The lead ship of 8 WASP Class LHD Amphibious Assault ships in service with the United States Navy. Its always a pleasure to see Capitol ships in ones own homeport, especially one as revered throughout the world as WASP. My families profound appreciation to CMC Conran for his kindness and hospitality. This site would be a lot less comprehensive without his efforts on our behalf. God speed WASP!

CSS Acadia

A tour onboard and alongside CSS Acadia at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Acadia is a hydrographic ship launched in 1913, She is the oldest ship afloat to have served in the Canadian Navy during both World Wars. 1917-1919, and 1939-1945. My appreciation to Bel Ayr's own Mrs Macmichaels Grade 5 class especially Rachael M and her Mom for the inspiration and onboard pics.
