I'm a college tutor with a Ph.D. in Mental Health Studies. I worked for over twelve years as a psychiatric nurse in various settings around the U.K. and maintain an academic interest in mental health care, with several published articles in professional journals.

Now semi-retired, I happily dedicate more time to my hobbies; reading, writing fiction, learning guitar and walking. My novel ‘Looking Through the Windows of Madness’ is a cathartic examination of my time in psychiatric nursing.

I'm married with two children and live in North Yorkshire, England.
