I'm just another old school raver that wishes raves went back to the time before they became so commercialized.  So in the spirit of anti-commercialization if give you some of the music I love, PLUR!

Its sad that Electronica is one of the most misunderstood gatherings of genres of music in the world.  Most people think its just a bunch of electronic beeps and bumps, and only people that do drugs listen to it.  Though, we who appreciate the music, know that the harmony and rhythm that goes into all the genres are far more complex than many other forms of music out there.  Also take into consideration that you can take music from any genre and mix and dub it into an electronic masterpiece in countless ways!  What other genre out there has one hour songs or longer?  NONE!  As for their thought that only druggies listen to techno I say this: "In my own opinion, I think that anyone who is a responsible person, you all know what I mean, decides to let loose and do whatever their flavor of substance is should be free to do so."  Now I know this creates a huge controversy, since it only takes one bad seed to ruin it for all and we do have more than one.  From what i've seen in my ten years of raving is that the seasoned ravers know limits since they are educated by experience while the dangerous ones are the people that just decide to see what a rave is like and do drugs in the process without researching effects or dosages, and worst of all not being with people who can be an anchor for them.  I've seen so many "Rave Acts" going into place that most clubs cant even sell glow sticks since they are considered parifenalia!  Not too sure about you but i've never seen someone get high from or by using a glow stick, come on politicians!  People are gonna do what they want no matter what someone else decides to tell them, therefore why cant we just educate instead of making things more enticing for others.  It's just like when you were a kid and your parents said don't touch that, what did you do?  You touched it of course!  For these reasons Electronica will always be the outlawed, in a sense, music of the world.  Atleast, we the few, understand and enjoy music so diverse that the music itself has various moods within each melody and every song has a piece of the creators soul in it, and then passes to the DJ adding his, and to the rest who put their soul into motion making what has no words to describe as it can only be felt.  PLUR to all that took the time to read this!
