We are allowed 5 gigs of free storage space. Is your storage all taken? If so, create another account for another 5 gigs of space. Let me know if this helps. I don't have any problem creating new folders, so I don't know if it's an issue affecting everyone or not. Sounds to me like you have a lot of stuff stored here already. You can check your amount of storage used, on your profile page or home page. It states it somewhere there.. or used to. I haven't looked at mine for a long time, so I forget where exactly it tells how much space you've used. Another account should solve your problem.
