Pics of Calgary
This is my home town of a million+ people. It's not as crowded as you might think. These were taken at an off leash dog park a block away from my house. There is also a couple of Utah the dog I walk for some good friends Darin Jennifer and Alexander. The few at the top were taken from the other side of the downtown at a park that runs along the Bow river as it flows by the downtown.

Let me spin you a yarn shipmate.
When I lived where I still consider home, Frederiksted, St.Croix, Virgin Islands... I did street shows, cultural events, and my tattoo shop was always a place to hang out, or avoid when the navy was in. So I had a regular exchange of input from my customer base when it came to artistic design. Working at home on a computer unfortunately stopped that input. Computer artistry for some reason is unlike the artists being watched as they work on the steps at Montmatre; like I used to watch once... So ANY discussion with another artist, even this way, is sooooo valuable. I reciprocate the gratitude and honesty you grace me with, tah mate!.... Neither one of us wants to convert the other. Who could ask for more?
eSnips is a dump. The tags point you to so much useless stuff unassociated with the tag. The only reason at all for putting stuff up here is to draw opinion. But opinion from other artists is worth 10,000 that of the public. You are the first real composing musician/lyricist I've had any exchange with in decades. eSnips greatest value my be in making connections like ours Guy.
Please know that on this end, all my interpretations are comparisons to other tunes or sounds by other artists. I am not a musician other than the occasional Pagan/witches' circle drumming. My appreciation of your lyrics exceeds that of the melody since I have had nothing but bad experiences associated with the down home folksy tuneage a la Lightfoot. Music, being what it is, has automatic psychological impact; life events associated with a melody... its the nature of music as you probably know. I work with visual Gestalt the same way you use it in designing an opus. Folk music of the Euro kind is not my cup of tea. I love Balinese, Aboriginal, Khmer, Hindi, Tibetan, Japanese, Flamenco, Gypsy Violin.. but not Anglo, Chinese, Polish/Mexican(LOL...the same), German, African, Red "Indian", etc.  So I find myself listening to more of what you say, not how you sing it. When my nay-boors are playing/sharing ultra loud Mexican or american negro music outside.... and they hear me play didgeridoos or Tibet in monks intoning for an hour in retaliation, they ask me what the f was that and I reply , "country music... but not this country." I would never think of sharing my love for heavy death metal with them the same way.... and they think I'm weird...LOL

Peace Guy,
Although I obviously have a differnt a method of dealing with "you know what" I fully appeciate your intelligent take on it. You probably would also disagree, if not be bemused with my elitist position on Canada too, LOL. L'audace l'audace, toujour l'adauce.

Hi there Guy. Sorry for my mistake but my compliments to your friend as I think he has a very good voice. I am sure the cd will do well. Are you planning to market it? I am sure it will do well in any case. As I said, my brother-in-law liked that kind of music so much, pitty he's not around for me to give him a listen. -Stay well and good luck with the cd. -StarBuck.
