I have been a working DJ (by working I mean paid) ever since I was 14 which is about 32 years now. I'm not after fame or fortune, I just wanna make sure whoever I am entertaining had a good time. I made most of my money playing pop music at weddings, birthdays but my real passion has always been great club and dance music usualy in the form of house, techno and trance in it's many forms.

My sets here include chillout, hiphop, electronica, house, trance, techno, oldscool rave and hardcore. Although I am in semi retirement from outdoor gigs I work a lot from my muzik and art studio here in Brighton UK. I try and keep my ego in check although it's quite hard sometimes when others are always saying good things about my music and art and because I hate to say if I am any good or not I place samples of my work online in many places, that way you can make up your own mind. All I will say is I turn down most gigs I am offered unless something really excites me. And, if that is the case I will work hard on developing and mixing an excellent set for the evening. I try to be original and know that all the time there are better DJ's out there than me, I strive to improve my own performance.

Lots of people in the past have compared me to Fat Boy Slim which is a great compliment. In fact he only lives about 2 miles away from me. Also I was in his house last week as during the day I work for a French Energy Company called EDF Energy as a meter reader - both jobs get me meeting lots of interesting people. If i were to compare myself to anyone I couldnt - I'm just me DJ Muzik-AL.

I hope you find something within my sets that get for feet fingers, body or whatever tapping, moving or even dancing. If you dont then fair enough, you cant please everyone all the time (I should know I am very hard to please lol). If I do then gr8, it makes my work worth the effort.
