About me

 Dreams are around for many reasons, two of which I feel are most important -

 

1. To communicate your everyday life the way your soul feels it, not your mind.

2. To act as a voice mail system from your higher power, whoever or whatever, that may be.

 

And so, when I dream, I examine two things- What event is being chronicled and How I feel as I am dreaming it.

BAPPI LAHIRI
Bappi Lahiri or Alokesh Lahiri (b. 1953) is a music director in the Hindi (or Bollywood) film industry. He pioneered the use of disco music in Indian cinema, and also sang some of his own compositions. He was especially very popular in the 1980s with films like Disco Dancer, Namak Halaal and Sharaabi among others. He is very fond of jewellery and is usually found wearing gold ornaments and black glasses.

LOVE AND GOD (1986)
Based on the ill-fated love story of Laila and Majnu, this version shows them as inseparable childhood sweethearts, and subsequently as each others lovers. They want to get married, but as their fathers' (Emir E Basra, and Emir E Yemen respectively) are sworn enemies of each other, they are not permitted to see other, leave alone get married. Separated from each other, they long and pine for each other.
