I'm just here on esnips to share some souvenirs of Rush's Snakes
& Arrows tour with other fans, presumably those who either attended
a concert or wanted to but couldn't.
Being a solid
Rush fan myself, I feel compelled to explain my actions, as it were,
when it comes to my apparently throwing all notion of copyright to the
wind as I make these recordings available.
While the quality of the files is pretty decent for a bootleg, it's a 'far cry' from a CD. If it were really
good -- recorded with professional equipment, or else fed from an
output at the sound board -- I'd be keeping the tracks to myself; I
don't want to hurt Rush. But I really can't see how the availability
of these bootlegs would ever prevent a sale of a CD or DVD -- they're
just of interest to 'Rush collectors'.
Should SRO contact
me to take the recordings down, I will do so immediately, but I hope
they'll agree that under the circumstances, there's no harm being done.
