I've always had a passion for country music and grew up listening to the Grand Ole' Opry on the radio. I started singing about 8 years ago after my life made a sudden turn. The music was one way to express myself without having to talk about it. Now I sing for fun. So I wanted to post some of these recordings I've done to share with my family and friends. Country Classics
This is where my love of music first began.....when country was really country. Country music changed a lot over the years. Many of the songs that are now on the country charts would have been considered "Pop" back in the days when these songs were popular. But I am beginning to notice that country seems to be getting back to it's roots in many of the new artists coming on the scene. I love the new stuff but these old classics and the singers who did them will always be where my heart is.

Raised On Elvis - A Female Tribute
Yeah..Yeah...I was one of those screaming females..LOL Saw my first Elvis movie when I was 2 years old and I've been hooked every since. His music has always been special to me so decided a few years ago to start singing some of his material. These are done "My Way"....LOL

Southern Gospel
The first place I ever sang was in church as a little girl. I can still hear the music from that little country church where I grew up. I've been wanting to put a collection of gospel tunes together and decided this was the time. Several incidents have happened over the past few years and even in the past few months that have reminded me of where I came from and the ONE who has pulled me through it all. But I am back now and fighting fit and have just been catching up on your new postings....Well new since I last looked quite some time ago, and its great to hear so many great songs. I have decided to concentrate on the more classical stuff and have just been accepted in to the Dinkelsbuehl school of music here near my home town in Germany....not bad for a 46 year old.
