Alex Garcia was born in England on 1st December in 1982.

He grew up listening to his parents music- a combination of pop, rock, r&b and soul.

Alex discovered dance music by accident when he was just 10 years old when flicking through radio channels through pure boredom one evening. The new sound he was exposed to was pure house music played by the legendary Dave Pearce on London's Radio1. Alex was completely hooked.

After saving every penny from his weekly paper route to buy singles, he gradually began to build a collection of cool sounds.

Alex was introduced to the concept of mixing music upon the purchase of his first compilation CD at the age of 12. Now he wanted to be a DJ.

Garcia was not able to begin his career in DJing until his university years, when he spent a portion of his student loan on his first set of DJing equipment.

Now, Alex Garcia has been mixing music for over 7 years and he has also produced some of his own music which is available to download right here on his official page.
