I've been a very very long time not doing anything with my esnips account but now that I have finally some time, I have decided to try and catch up with the releases of my favourite japanese bands and artists. I will not be able  to keep this up though, but I will do my best and find time for everything!

NEWS - Taiyou no Namida 太陽のナミダ
NEWS' 9th single. Reached #1 in the Oricon Chart. Was released 02/27/2008. Sold 291,447 copies. It is the theme song for Kurosagi the Movie (starring Yamashita Tomohisa). Personally, this is one of my favourite songs from NEWS. About the b-sides, Bambina is a very likeable song that you might keep on repeat, the other two are quite disappointing from my point of view.

Gackt - Ghost
Was released January 28, 2009. Reached #6 in the Oricon chart (gakuto ganbare!). Personally I didn't like Ghost at first but it turned out to be a very catchy song full of energy. I like Blue Lagoon too, but it is not outstanding to gakuto's standards.

NEWS' 10th single. Reached #1 Oricon Chart. Was released 05/08/2008. Sold 257,705 copies. Is a very generic kind of summer song about being in love in this season and etc. The b-sides are very good, especially Liar but I like them all a lot!

NEWS' 11th single. Released 10/01/2008. Sold 227,644 copies. Of course, reached #1 in the Oricon Chart. Was used as the theme song for Kose's Happy Bath Day Precious Rose commercial, in which all band members appeared. Has a nice cheerful sound and great lyrics to wish someone especial a happy birthday! The b-sides are ok, Game of Love is my favourite, push on! is fine and gan gan ganbatte is cheerful but for me the worst one. Enjoy!
