I liked 'Down the Highway'. It is a fine written short-story, convincing without beeing pathetic. Perhaps we all tend to overestimate and overplay some event in our life ('self-confidence in our country' etc) and I'm not an exception - so I could be sympathetic with you as if I had been there (I also like Johnny Cash music). And the story is worth a short video too!
