Sri Narayan Sanyal was a well-known and powerful writer of modern Bengali literature. He was born in Calcutta on 26th April 1924. His father was late Chittasukh Sanyal and mother Late Basantalata Devi. He wrote several books of different tastes. His first book 'Muskil Asan' (Drama) was published in 1954. During the 46 years he has penned approximately 120 books.
