Born in Defiance, raised in Independence, this circa 76 Ohio State Buckeye, Matthew Eickhoff, moved to Vancouver, Washington at the age of 12. After living on the West Coast, and comuting to Indiana, Matthew Eickhoff graduated with a B.F.A. in Painting from Herron School of Art, Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis.
After two and a half years of running the gallery Everyday Inventors, Eickhoff decided to focus on painting full time.
Matthew now resides in Franklin, Inidana with his wife and future baby.
They enjoy trips out west, camping, and talking about art.
